For too many children growing up in under-resourced communities, the barriers to education, mentorship, and opportunity can feel overwhelming. That is why we exist: to stand beside them, to uplift them, and to ensure that no dream is too big to pursue.

Chapter Forward was founded by Cathy Randrianavalona, who drew inspiration from her own journey and her deep understanding of how access to education and opportunity can change the course of a child’s life. Cathy recognized that while talent, imagination, and potential are equally distributed among children everywhere, access to resources often is not. Chapter Forward was born out of the belief that this gap can—and must—be bridged.

Our mission is both simple and powerful: to empower children and youth from underserved communities through education, mentorship, and life-changing opportunities. We provide essential school supplies to help kids start strong, mentorship programs that encourage them to think beyond their immediate circumstances, and resources that open doors to new possibilities. Every backpack filled, every workshop offered, and every story shared is one more step toward leveling the playing field for children who deserve every chance to succeed.
